Letter from One of Us!

Hi guys! I received a letter from one of us, Lourdes Romans, who I believe is technically my Tita. I want to share what she has written to me...

"I WAS TOLD BY BABY ABOUT THE ISORENA CLAN. IT WAS VERY INFORMATIVE. I FOR ONE IS ONE OF THOSE CLAN. ALTHOUGH I HAVE BEEN AWAY FOR LONG TIME. BUT I STILL KNOW WHERE MY ROOTS ARE. I WAS THERE LAST OCTOBER VISITING MY SISTER LEONOR AND MY BROTHER DOMING. I WAS ABLE TO VISIT WITH TANTANG PELO AND TIA CHARING. I'M SORRY I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO MEET ALL OF YOU. BUT I'M GLAD SOMEWHERE OUT THERE I HAVE SOME RELATIVES. AS YOU HAVE HEARED PROBABLY I HAVE MY FAMILY HERE IN THE STATES. I HAVE GROWN KIDS BOTH ARE MARRIED. MY DAUGHTER MARIA HAS FOUR KIDS TWO BOYS AND TWO GIRLS. ANYWAY IF I HAVE THE CHANCE I WILL POST MY FAMILY PICTURES IN THE WEBB. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OUR CLANS."

Updates, et al.

Hello guys! Really sorry if it has been a while since I was able to write here. I missed a lot of birthdays so Belated Happy Birthday to all those who just had their birthdays! Sorry, I'm just a busy bee at work. :P

Anyways, as you may all have heard, Catanduanes was badly hit by the latest typhoon, Yoyong. I was not able to catch up well with the news but as far as I know they were under Signal #4 so it must have been pretty bad and I think the rescue team took a couple of days before they could reach the island. I haven't asked how our relatives there like Tita Mining and Lolo Pilo are doing but let's all hope they are ok. I know typhoons are common in the island but if it reaches up to Signal #4, then it must've been pretty dangerous.

There is a website for Catanduanes, I believe the URL is http://www.catanduanes.net so maybe you guys can check this out and see if we can help in any way. This site is quite a cool one, lotsa info about the place so I'm sure you all will enjoy it. :) I've also put up a link at the side.

As for the Isorena Family Tree, it is temporarily situated at http://www.tribalpages.com/tribes/isorena, link is also at the side. As you can see the data are still very incomplete, coz I have very limited knowledge, I just based them all from what Ate Joy sent me. But on a side note, I enjoyed making this Family Tree coz it familiarized me with a lot of our relatives. Like I only hear about Dad talking about "Lolo Bruno" all the time but I never really understood (or cared to know) before as to how did he became my Lolo or Dad's Lolo so now I understand that he is the "main" lolo and I did not know my Lolo Pilo had so many siblings. Hehehe. Quite sadly 'though, the information about the younger generation is still way incomplete so here's a CALL FOR HELP to complete the info listed in our family tree! I need volunteers, I'll teach you how to work on the site, which is pretty easy. Or if you don't wanna work with the program, just help me in researching/gathering more info coz we also need stuff like birthdates, birthplaces, marriage dates, date of death, etc. etc. Maybe in the future we can put up photos too!

What else, oh, hello to all those who have been dropping a line or two in the tag board! And to "ginintuang puso" aka golden heart as per Ate Be, hehe, pakilala ka daw. Ate Be, belated Happy Thanksgiving and thanks a lot for visiting my site! I haven't been able to write often coz I'm just too tired all the time. Tita Mimi, pls go online whenever you can, need to ask you something.

And so, to everyone else, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to y'all! Labas naman tayo dito sa Manila, pls? :)

Tata,
